“What’s Kuzzuk?” A lot of people have asked this question. Admittedly, only 3 people have asked but in my opinion 3s a crowd. I digress…

A Brief History
For those of you who do not know me. I’m from India but I don’t have the typical Indian look (whatever that is). Yes, I do get stopped at airports and they do stare at my passport as if it was a book of profound wisdom. I often get mistaken for a Filipino, Thai, Malay, Indonesian, Eurasian but never an Indian (that wouldn’t be a mistake) and it is no wonder I have made Singapore my home for the past decade or so as I fit right in. India is a vast country (almost everyone knows that) and is very heterogeneous in terms of its population. I belong to one among the many minorities of India, my father is of Nepali origin (not from Nepal) and belongs to the Limbu ethnic group. My mother is a mix of Nepali (Limbu again), Tibetan, Chinese and Bengali (don’t ask me to explain). So my ethnic Limbu name is Kuzzuk Hang which means something like ‘the King of the World’ (not the Titanic kind, hopefully) but don’t take my word for it as I am pretty ignorant of the Limbu language and its script. Even my parent’s religious backgrounds are different but that’s a whole post by itself.

There you go, that’s why the blog is called Kuzzuk.Net. See, I am narcissistic.
