At the end of last year, I read a wonderful book, A Whole New Mind by Daniel Pink. I really identified with his views on how the world is being globalised and what skills are needed to thrive in this new world. I exchanged a few emails with him and made some suggestions. About half a year later, a paperback version of the book came out (in business book publishing, a book is deemed really popular when a paperback version is released) and I found out that my name was in the Acknowledgments Page. Wow! As if that was not enough, Dan (yes, we are on a first name basis :P) mailed me two autographed books (one of which I gave to a close friend and I hope she read it). See photos below for proof (eat your heart out).

Check out my name (it is on the first line). Yeah!

Check out Dan Pink’s autograph.
Enough bragging for the day. Now I feel good.

1Way to go, Dipankar. I wouldn’t call this bragging; its more like “Paying the Devil his Dues”; i.e. saying it like it is. Well done.

2Kaed > Thanks. Where is your blog? Is it the best kept secret on the Internet? Kidding!
Cheers,
Dipankar
