I make consistent income from the Internet on a part-time basis and have always toyed with the idea of taking it to the next level i.e. on a full-time basis. Subsequently, a number of weeks ago I read on several blogs about the 30 Day Challenge by Ed Dale and I was intrigued by the premise of the challenge. Make your first $10 on the Internet in 30 days without spending a cent. To me, it sounded too good to be true so I decided to enter the challenge.

To start off they had many pre-season tips and videos which focused on the following:

  1. Teams: Get into a team and leverage on the power of the group. As of now, I’m searching for a team and will update when I get into one. The forum is at http://www.thirtydaychallenge.com/members/.
  2. Leverage on Web 2.0 Social Media Sites: The suggestion is to join Digg, Twitter, BlogLines (to manage information), FaceBook and StumbleUpon.
  3. Official Browser: The official browser for the challenge is FireFox. Use add-ons like del.icio.us with tags, Google Notebook to take any impromptu notes, clips and links from webpages, Aaron Wall’s SEO For FireFox (Aaron wrote the Internet’s best selling SEO Book), Session Manager which maintains sessions of all tabs and windows, FireBug to debug (a geeky tool which I don’t use much), Search Status, ScribeFire (for blogging) and StumbleUpon. Yeah. I love FireFox and the add-ons it provides.
  4. BlogLines: Get BlogLines. NOW!
  5. Audio And Video is THE Key to Marketing in 2007

Before I go any further, the pre-season posts have been summarised. Nice job!

I’ll keep you guys updated on what they share and how the challenge progresses personally for me. I also wonder whether their tips will work for someone sitting here in Singapore or somewhere else in Asia? Meanwhile, check out the 30 day challenge blog.
