Stefan > You are right, over pinging could hurt that’s why in the main post http://www.kuzzuk.net/blog-development-and-launch-checklist.html I pointed to the Jack humprey post on using a plugin to protect from over-pinging or double-pinging.

To be honest you don’t have to ping all of these and I actually think it will hurt you in the long run.
